Sad times for spanish_lad

Postby gerryh » Mon Oct 02, 2017 11:13 am

As you all know spanish_lad has been a contributor to this forum for many years.
Sadly his mother died on Wednesday, her funeral is tomorrow in Velez Malaga.
I have known his parents for many years through our mutual association with an amateur drama group.
His mother was a very kind and helpful lady who I am sure will be sadly missed.

I've only just seen this.. thanks Gerry, and thank you so much for coming along, she would of liked that.

Thanks everyone, I'm sorry if any replies have been a little "off" this week, it's no excuse but my head's not right at the moment.

So true
My dad died in May. One of the problems of living in Spain is the fact it’s not possible to get together with family as often as one would like. He was really ill in the last months, at least I managed to go across to see him a few times while he was in hospital.
