Does anyone know how a Widows Pension is calculated from the UK?

Very witty comments but really not very thoughtful or compassionate considering the topic.!

I'm sure the comments weren't meant in a hurtful way, but please consider the OP might be in 'dark place' and a more tactful and considerate response would be more helpful....

Agreed Gordon,

especially in the days of smart phones and tablets, we all know that predictive text can change the word you wanted to write without you realizing. In this case the context was absolutely clear.
