Another one bites the dust. I must say I am not surprised about this one.

All my best learning experiences start with a problem I need to solve.

Presumably you’re covered for what you paid if you paid by credit card. But blimey, what a nightmare if you flew out yesterday morning and now have to buy flights from other airlines which will no doubt be increasing their prices substantially for flights in the next two weeks.

We'd booked return (unusually for us) flights with Monarch by debit card when they collapsed four days before our flight. My wife (her card) applied straight away for chargeback and our money was returned within a week or so. It actually was quicker and more hands-free than when I used a credit card for a dud hire car. Of course, the Primera situation and other debit card issuers might be different, but it's definitely worth getting straight on the 'phone and applying rather than just taking the hit.
