My friend has an annoying Neighbour who continues to use her WIFI using her Wireless Key whenever he is over from Sweden. . How does one change this Wireless Key found on the bottom of the Router. She is not used to the Internet but uses her TV a lot using an IPTV Box. Please can you supply detailed instructions on how to change the Wireless Key on her Movistar Router.
Thank You
David

Re: Movistar ADSL Router
Good morning pensure1988,
If you had given the Make and Model of the router a more specific answer can be had.
To change the passphrase for the WiFi on the router you need to login to the Router............
in a Browser URL bar type 192.168.1.1
The Router's login window will pop up, if this id is set to the Default ...Example ......admin/admin this will need to be changed also.
Login ....then from the menu go to the security area for WPA2 and change/type in a new password confirm..save ..reboot Router.
If the router is not secured then the Network will be OPEN and anyone close by can use the connection.
