My goodness, it used to be easy to check the internet for train times on the Renfe service between Fuengirola and Malaga.
Now I look, and all I can find are prices for competing taxi services to and from these destinations, or flights from Malaga!
And this is as a consequence of searching "Train times from Fuengirola to Malaga"!
What have taxi fares and flights got to do with train times?!
Never mind, I will keep searching!

Re: Finding a Renfe timetable
I use an app called 'Spain Commuter Trains':
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... nias&hl=en
You choose which Cercanía network you want then enter the station of origin and the station of destination and it gives you the times of all the trains.
There is also detailed information about the Málaga Cercanía here:

Re: Finding a Renfe timetable
Probably more to do with your previous browsing history & cookies etc. My tip for future reference: if you clear your history & cookies you'll probably get different results - or better still, simply include "renfe" or "cercanias" in your search criteria, and you will find the actual Renfe site on the first page of results. Happy searching!jagumar wrote: And this is as a consequence of searching "Train times from Fuengirola to Malaga"!

Don't worry about what people think, they don't do it very often

Re: Finding a Renfe timetable
About four times a year the whole site grinds to a halt while the new timetable comes out. The only way to get tickets is to go to a railway station. At least, that's what happens in Extremadura.

Google “Renfe cercanias” which will take you to the renfe website which has full timetables.

Have been using the "RENFE" site for years without any problems.
Easy to use, and not a taxi in sight ! ( or site )

Re: Finding a Renfe timetable
I have found it unhelpful - looking at travel from here (Torre de Pacheco, Murcia) to Madrid there is a choice of trains, normal Medium Distance or AVE, but there are none to return!
