That would be good for us! I don't like the idea of spray or powder on the worktops. Thanks for the tip, Unicorn - the ants are more a nuisance than a big problem but I'd like them gone.

The only way I have found to control the problem is to follow them back to where they enter and spray ant killer into the hole, repeating every few day. That will control the problem but not solve it

Some years ago I had a problem in U.K. I used the product which claimed the ants would take the poison back to the nest and kill all. When it did not work I contacted the manufactures. They said it would only work at some times of the year. They sent me a spray to spray the entry holes as I described above. I did it every week for years until I moved !

Ant update.

True test of Eco gel

We had a party last night and naturally all sorts of yummy leftovers were left on the worktops overnight, and this morning, not one ant.
