hello
I am visiting our apartment in Frigiliana next week with my Mother (fairly capable but 79 years old).
To my dread i see the forecast looks like showers all week!!!!
Any ideas on suitable places to go? I was thinking Picasso museum in Malaga, maybe the Alhambra but i really need a few more ideas if its showering all week.
Thanks for any help.

See my thread on this.
Personaly I think the museum of Art and Popular traditions would be a better bet.

Personally, having visited the Picasso museum we all thought it was a complete waste of money.
We have visited the Alcazaba in Malaga a couple of times, that is very interesting, however some of it is undercover but not all.
The caves at Nerja on the other hand are definitely worth a visit, they are stunning.

Frigiliana and area
Frigiliana itself has a small but interesting museum .. cant remember the name but it is where the tourist office is ...
Sayalonga has again a small but interesting museum with explanations in english,
Archez has a restaurant 'Posada/Meson Mudejar' -(has a website) with an unusual menu and interesting decor , ...
a bit along the coast to the east is Almunecar ... ?maybe google to see interesting indoor places to visit there?

If your Mum is agile enough to cope with the Nerja Cave you could consider a drive to the Treasure Cave at Rincon de la Victoria. Everyone we have suggested it to has had a really enjoyable trip.
Then, if the rain holds off, there are some superb Sea Food restaurants along the sea front - much better/fresher Fish than you will get at Nerja!
