where to buy cheap stuff for a restaurant

Postby Alex @ La Parra » Mon Jun 12, 2006 5:13 pm

Hi there everyone. i've just arrived in Neja. I'm the new restaurant Manager for La Parra de Burriana. its a great place but my coffee machine has broken down and I need to get my hands on a either a cheap restaurant style coffee machine, or even better a whole load of cafetiers (french press). any help would be most grateful.

i look forward to adding more intresting comments soon

Try Makro in Malaga. They sell everything for the catering industry but phone them first as you have to have certain paperwork to prove that you are in the busuiness before they let you in and issue you a card. We use a freinds so its no problem.

La Parra.............any connection with La Parra in Fuengirola?

Used to do very nice food (if a little expensive on the bar bills) now a fish and chip restaurant :-)

silver, me thinks this n00b means NERJA... creo que el estas el jefe de una resturante enfrente el playa de burriana ... ;)

anyways, enough banter - if you wanna travel for it theres a second hand place in cartama estacion - janes second hand wharehouse, if you come round malaga towards the airport and turn off towards coin / cartama on the a357 before the airport just after the tunnel you´ll be there in no time, the number is in the sur in english.

theres also one that specialises in catering equipment in mijas costa, on the coin road, the coin turn off before the eroski turnoff in fuengerola. their number is in the sur in english as well.

alternativly.. as your coffee machine has broken down, why not get it repaired?? theres probably a sticker on the side of it that says "technico 24h" if not, when the guy comes with the coffee, ask him if he´s got the number of one.

or ask in the spanish bar next door to yours if they can let u have a number ?

it will be alot cheaper to get it repaired than to buy a new one probably, unless it is something electronic.
