Miramar Shopping Centre with Multi Cinema

You can't miss the huge Miramar shopping and leisure centre on the right at the final exit off the A7 (old N340) road in the Marbella direction. It is opposite the landmark castle (Castillo Sohail). Opened at the beginning of 2004, this centre on three levels and has everything you need under one roof, from latest fashions or soft furnishings, flat screen television or a bouquet of flowers and an awful lot more - in short it is everything you could expect of a 21st century commercial centre.

There are regular local buses running from the central bus station in Fuengirola to both of these main shopping centres and both have extensive parking space on site.

Fashion:
With over 50 shops to chose from, many of them familiar high street brands as well as some very interesting Spanish ones, shopping is easy in the air conditioned comfort of this new centre. The shops include: Dorothy Perkins, Wallace, Zara, Massimo Dutti, Benetton, Mango, Timberland, Pepe Jeans, Jack & Jones, Adolfo Dominguez, Pif Paf, Evans, Stradivarius, Pull & Bear, Oysho, Springfield, Punto Roma, Bershka, Chanagra, Imaginarium and even C & A kids.

Other interesting boutiques for accessories, shoes, etc. include; Cosas y Ropa, Champs Elisees, Shoes Faktory, Prechilo, Suenos, Amichi, Tinto Reto, Cappucine Fashion, Trece 13, Tusks, BSM Faktory, Roberto Martin, Rayella, to mention but a few.

The mix of familiar brand names together with sizzling Spanish fashion offers a unique shopping opportunity and the chance to mix and match with style, elegance and originality at affordable prices.

For the Home:
Furniture, soft furnishings and DIY - it's all available under the same roof. Shops include; Casa, Dismar Decoration, Décor Arte, La Oca, Natuzzi and Zara Home and more. As well as furniture and decoration, you can also buy washing machines, fridges and all electrical goods, as well as DVD, TV's, etc. and all at competitive prices.

The Eroski Supermarket:
This massive supermarket covers over 8,000 m2. The food and wines section is vast and has a great variety for all tastes and all at reasonable prices. You can also buy shoes and clothes for all the family, garden furniture and household goods, including electronic goods, computers, CD's, books and lots more. The prices are competitive and if you have an eye for a bargain you can take advantage of some of the special offers.

Other shops, services, cafes and restaurants:
As well as all the above, there are many other specialist shops for sports wear and items, perfume and cosmetics, jewellery, watches, camera and photo shop, florist, pet shop and much more. Services include key cutters, opticians, dry cleaners, internet café, etc. as well as some 20 bars, cafes, restaurant and fast food outlets to keep you going as you shop.

The Multiplex Cinema
The Miramar shopping and leisure centre is also home to a large multi cinema, offering the latest release films, including English language films. The Multiplex Cinema Centre, on the third floor of the Miramar Complex, has 12 state of the art cinemas, with at least one and often two in the original English version showing.

Play Area:
If you have young children, then you might head for the second floor where there is a play area with bouncy castles, trains, boats, etc. where children can let burn off some energy if they get bored with the shops.

Parking:
Miramar has free outside and underground parking for a total of over 2000 cars. Using the underground parking is usually first choice in an attempt to avoid coming back to a car as hot as an oven!
