A traditional Andalucian Farmhouse

The Almuña farmhouse is in the hills of Andalucia. The lodging is tucked into the mountain between the picturesque white villages of Jimena de la Frontera and Gaucin. The Farmhouse is still however only one hours drive from both Gibraltar and Marbella on the Costa del Sol. The farmhouse is on the ancient smugglers track from the coast, with panoramic views across the foothills of the sierras, over the straits of Gibraltar as far as the Atlas mountains. The farmhouse is now a guesthouse and offers visitors bed and breakfast and evening meals

Diana Paget and her mother run the farmhouse with a relaxed houseparty atmosphere. Comfortable, traditionally decorated rooms open out onto a flower filled courtyard, or the lawn, where a quick sprint leads to a secluded swimming pool.
