Golf - Cortijo Grande Golf Course

Cortijo Grande Golf Course is an 9 hole inland course in Almería.  
 
This is one course that will satisfy those looking to golf in a truly majestic setting, among rolling hills and not too far from the sea. Almería is known for being one of the lesser developed corners of Andalucia and this golf development represents the best of that reputation.
 
Golfers can fly into the Almería airport 86 kilometers away and will find the course located between the towns of Turre and Mojácar. It is a 20 minute drive to the sea from Cortijo Grande which is actually located at the foot of the Sierra Cabrera mountains.
 
While the course is near rolling hills, it is mainly flat as it spreads through a valley. Thanks to the weather the golfing is good here most of the year with summer golfers simply recommended to get an early start or take advantage of the cooler evening hours.

Directions: going from the Almería-Murcia highway, take the exit marked Mojácar-Turre-Garrucha if you are driving from Almería, or the exit posted Los Gallardos-Mojácar-Turre if you are going from Murcia. The course is about 10 kilometres from the coast.
