GPS
stands for Global Positioning Systems.
It is a technology that uses 12 satelites in space so that wherever
you are in the world you can pick up a signal from at least 5 in
order to calculate your exact global position. The satelites were
previously owned by the American Military and are worth billions
of dollars.
However
they are now used by an abundance of applications among them hand
held and in car devices. Every position on Earth has a GPS co-ordinate
so if you know where you want to go and you have access to the points
you can download these points to a hand held device and be guided
wherever it is you want to go.
We have
been working on a system here at Andalucia.com so that you can download
the points you require from around the Province making your stay
however long or short an enjoyable one. The aim for the future is
to be able to offer points for every single location that could
possibly be searched for.
