It gives me great pleasure and pride to be addressing you through this first edition of the Official Magazine of the Andalusian Golf Federation. Through this publication we will be able to communicate with our golf courses, and both local and international professional and amateur golfers keeping everyone informed on the latest developments.

We have signed a five year agreement with Andalucía Magazine that ensures, through this publication, that we will develop an enduring relationship between the thousands of golfers that visit and play our courses every year and the exceptional destination that Andalusia is for the fine sport of golf.

The specialized Federation section of the magazine will be the Noticeboard where we will publish news items, competitions, events, special reports, features and course descriptions with the aim to make you, the reader and visitor, feel as close as possible to your Andalusian golfing home.

I invite you to not only check every issue for news of interest to you, but for you to contribute to it by sending us your letters, comments and, especially, your own bits of news. The modern word for this is "inter-active" but I prefer to call it our "19th hole golf magazine," and your contribution will serve to make what promises to be an excellent publication that much better.
