Golden Mile Mountainside Districts - El Capricho
Fronting onto the Golden mile is the El Capricho shopping centre, which was built in the 1980s. There is also an El Corte Inglés decoration store, and next door the IES Guadalpin secondary school.
The rustic pleasant-looking building with an interior patio. It was a discotheque for many years: in the '90s called Willie's Salsa, which was open until dawn, after it closed down it became real estate agent in the 2000s, and now a strangely quiet nightclub called Opera Room Marbella.
The residential estate is located behind the commercial area and consists of relatively small villa plots.
Bounding the upper part of El Capricho is La Virginia district.
