Mijas doesn't have a bus station, however there is a main bus stop on Avenida Virgen de la Peña, just down from the Mijas Town Hall building. Portillo bus company operates regular buses from here that serve Alhaurín el Grande, Arroya de la Miel, Benalmádena, Coín, Fuengirola, Málaga and Torremolinos.
