Acueducto del Aguila Balcon de Europa
Acueducto del Águila (Eagle Aqueduct), also known as Puente del Águila (Eagle Bridge), is regarded across the region as "an historic jewel of Spanish architecture". It was built in the 19th century and has been used continuously since.

The Balcón de Europa is a large round balcony on a cliff in the seaside town of Nerja, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It has spectacular panoramic views of the Sierra Almijara mountain range and the coast with its beautiful beaches, sandy coves and rocky outcrops.

Barco de Chanquete Caves
El Barco de Chanquette (Chanquete´s boat), officially named La Dorada, is a full scale replica of a famous fishing boat, featured in the 1981 Spanish television series Verano Azul; set on the coast of Nerja and directed by well known film director Antonio Mercero.

Las Cuevas de Nerja (the Caves of Nerja) are a series of naturally formed caves and caverns in the hills of Maro, 4km North-East of Nerja. The caves also famously host the annual Nerja International Festival of Music and Dance.

Frigiliana Necropolis Beaches
Cerillo de las Sombras is an Iron Age Necropolis (burial site) in Frigiliana, a pretty village six kilometres outside Nerja. It is one of just three Iron Age sites in Europe, dating from the 9th century BC.

The Beaches of Nerja are one of the towns´s biggest assets, the crystal clear waters and rocky outcrops the pepper the coastline make it a haven for snorkelling ans scuba diving. The steep cliffsides offer breath taking views; of course none as spectacular as that of the Balcon de Europa.
