The coastal property prices remain higher in the areas closest to
Marbella and along the new golden mile east of Estepona,
though many bargains can still be found partucuarly west of Estepona.
Closer to Gibraltar places like Sotogrande,
have seen a huge increase in the development of luxury and higher
value property including individual Villas and luxury urbanisations.
The close proximity of Sotogrande
to the world famous golf courses Valderrama and San Roque also makes
this part of the coast a popular area for property purchase and
investment. The completion of a new motorway from Estepona
in recent years has opened up this western end of the Costa del
Sol, dramatically cutting journey times and increasing the value
