Hotel Fuerte Conil- resort
Fuerte Conil-Resort is a four-star hotel comprising of three buildings (Fuerte Conil, Fuerte Costa Luz y Costa Conil) with 25,000 m2 of gardens and a Spa.
Located on the Costa de la Luz the Hotel Fuerte Conil-Resort has an enviable position: on La Fontanilla beach inext to the attractive village of Conil de la Frontera.
Looking out over the Atlantic, this large, Andalucian-style hotel was formerly two separate hotels, the Conil and Costa Luz, which have now been joined together. The original Costa Luz building is closed from February to April, while the Conil, which has the freeform swimming pool show in the photo above, is open from February to November. The 469 rooms all have flat-screen TVs, balconies or terraces, and free WIFI.
Surrounded by over 30,000 m2 of subtropical gardens, the hotel has an indoor heated swimming pool and gym, and five outdoor pools, plus a Jacuzzi - three for children and two for everyone. The beach is five minutes' walk away, along a shady boardwalk, ideal for pushchairs, while the town is about a ten-minute stroll.
You can choose from four restaurants; the buffet breakfast offers an impressive spread with everything from cava to pancakes made to order, and you can enjoy your plate of goodies on a beautiful terrace overlooking the garden.
Actitivites available include wine and olive oil tasting sessions, as well as flamenco and tapas lessons. Two resort bars have evening shows.
The Forti Club offers a softplay area with activities for children aged 0-12 years old at weekends, and daily during July and August.
The hotel (and the whole group) has a strong environmental policy, with solar-powered water heating, waste recycling, and its own organic fruit and vegetable garden, as well as compost makers.
The Spa & Beauty Centre has a hydrotherapy circuit with and offers many treatments including massage (hot stone, chocolate, bamboo, candle, subaquatic), anti-cellulite and body treatments including wraps (green tea, arctic plants, red fruits, seaweed), with options for couples.

The Spa is open Monday to Friday 10am – 2pm and 4pm – 7pm, Saturday 10am - 2pm and 4pm - 8pm, and Sunday 10am – 2pm.
