Andalucia.com’s Managing Director, Chris Chaplow, has signed an agreement with Live Bookings to add a restaurant reservation system to the extensive Andalucia.com restaurant guide.
Now it is possible to make an Internet booking at excellent restaurants across Spain and abroad and receive a confirmation. Approximately 200 of the over 1300 restaurants featured in the Andalucia.com online restaurant guide are now available for online bookings. For example, Trader Vic's, Café del Mar and Finca Besaya in Málaga, Córdoba's El Churrasco, and Corral del Rey outside Seville among so many others.
According to Chris Chaplow, “This booking system has become very popular in the UK and USA, so we expect it also to be popular in Spain. The Spanish love restaurants and this is expecially useful to tourists as well. They don't want any confusion over the booking numbers or the time which can easily happen in a phone conversation. This is also quicker in the “Get Connected” age.
Live Bookings is a premiere service provider that has created the world’s first global distribution system for the hospitality industry. Currently over 4,000 restaurants are participating in Live Bookings from Spain, the UK, Germany and over 20 other EU countries.
