Via Verde - Lucainena de las Torres
The Lucainena de las Torres greenway runs for 5.5 kilometres, from the Punete del Saltador at the Rambla Honda to Lucainena de las Torres. It follows the path of the old mining train which ran from Lucainena to Aguas Amargas on the coast.
The route can be enjoyed on foot and by bike.
The Lucainena route offers wonderful views of the Campo de Tabernas and the Sierra Alhamilla, as well as the old iron mines.
In terms of history, Lucainena has archaeological remains from the Roman era and the parish church from the 18th century.
