Advice needed for log burner install

Hi everyone, Looking at doing this myself - I’ll get it tester afterwards and we have carbon monoxide detectors etc! So as you can see in pic, flue needs to come out of roof and through a ración and teja tiles on top. Any advice regarding install? Methods etc - I’ll take my time and ensure it’s done...

Re: Apartment without 1st occupation licence

Malaga province - illegal no, just the developer ended up bankrupt and things weren’t tied up when they should have been. The Spanish owners don’t seem bothered so haven’t done anything about it but for tourist rentals I worry it may present a problem

Apartment without 1st occupation licence

Hi everyone

I want to rent my apartment this summer but need to apply for the tourist rentals licence. Prob is the apartment was built about 17 years ago and doesn’t have a licence of first off. Any way around this?

Thanks in advance

Planning permission Vélez Malaga pool

Hi everyone Anyone have any idea on current waiting times for obra mayor permissions from Vélez Malaga. We have used an architect that works with the town hall so I’m hopeful that the application is fine. We submitted and paid end sept but still no word. You may ask why I don’t just ask the builder ...

Re: Covering up a rubble filled hillside

Thanks everyone - no, the community don’t take responsibility for what essentially are fly tippers. It also doesn’t affect them as they can’t see it - only people from our phase can and this is a seperate entity

Covering up a rubble filled hillside

So my ‘view’ is the next phases hill which builders like to use every now and again as a dump for bricks and tiled. Activity has increased significantly recently and it is unsightly. I WANT to do something about it and appreciate stopping it is nigh on impossible. Id like to throw some seeds down th...

IF i get permission from the town hall how much flexibility is there if I want to build my own small extension? I figure that if i get good advice, get the foundations right etc it wont be so difficult right?! Also my messy work will be covered with caps fina anyway?!

PAINT STRIPPING/DIPPING

Got lots of old doors and would like to get them back to wood. In the UK I had my old doors dipped, easy. However, I’ve been searching and can’t find anything similar here - can it be done and does anyone know where? Malaga/Vélez Malaga area. Thanks in advance.
