Re: Registering a dependant for healthcare

As a final question...I hope. On the PRESTACIÓN DE ASISTENCIA SANITARIA form, given that I'm already on the system and my wife will be a dependant, do I fill in the top part of the form with my details and then put her details as a Beneficiaria? I don't want to muddy the waters by making it look as ...

Re: Registering a dependant for healthcare

No, she applied before the end of 2020 - we nearly used JJ in La Herradura but decided to do it ourselves and save €300. I got mine in 2019 and got my healthcare sorted. We picked up our TIEs last week and the S1 came very quickly so as I say, we just have to register her as my 'dependant' as she is...

Re: Registering a dependant for healthcare

I registered my S1 at Motril and it look about 5 minutes and no questions asked and no marriage certificates required. Yes everyone needs their own S1 but it can be one issued by DWP for a dependent. Normally both S1 forms are submitted at the same time. Sid Cheers, Sid. We'll probably go to Motril...

Re: Registering a dependant for healthcare

Totally dependent on who you get sat behind the desk on the day dinno. Heard of cases of people who needed them and those who didnt. Best just to try and see what happens. Alot of INSS require you to send in the paperwork in online now becausr of covid so at least it wouldnt be a wasted trip Depend...

Re: Registering a dependant for healthcare

....My wife has just become resident and has her own S1 to register as my dependant. Why is she going to register as your dependant? If she has her own S1 then she can register for health care in her own name. Cheers Gerry My understanding is that everyone needs their own S1, so even as a dependant...

Registering a dependant for healthcare

I have Spanish healthcare - I registered an S1 Form as a pensioner. My wife has just become resident and has her own S1 to register as my dependant. Does she have to provide an apostille-affirmed marriage certificate for the INSS? Will an original marriage certificate be enough (and of course we'll ...

T.I.E. Progress

I have a green tarjeta de residency and as far as I know there is no rush to change to a T.I.E. because they're trying to process all the new residency applications. On that note, my wife took along her Modelo 20 to apply for resident status on 20 August. Just found the gobierno.es site where we can...

Personally i think you just apply using the standard form.ask on the CAB spain f.book page. They will confirm I worked on the basis that although we're in the transition perio...

Re: T.I.E

Anyone have any idea about this? I became resident in 2019. My wife hedged her bets but eventually decided that it was the best option. When it came to applying, we were unsure...is she best going for Modelo EX20, apply for initial residency, or EX19, family member of existing Ciudadano de La UE (I....

Re: T.I.E

I have my green card and am in no rush for the T.I.E. but my wife hasn't gone for residency yet. Does anyone know which Modelo 790 is payable for Modelo EX20? I know that 790 codigo 12 is the actual T.I.E. fee but what about the Solicitud?

Residencia for spouse

I became resident in 2019 but my wife held off as she wasn't sure about where she would spend the majority of her time. She has now decided to become Resident. Does she go through the T.I.E. process with EX 20 or is †here a way of tagging her application to my status? Not trying to circumvent the ru...

Activating Digital Certificate

I used a (not very good) gestor to do my first tax return. He obtained a Digital Certificate in my name but for use on his computer - all done on paper at the local ayuntamiento. I've decided not to use him again and he has downloaded 2 files on a pen drive for me: Certificado Michael.pfx and Passwo...

Re: Transfer of Digital Certificate

Thanks, Enrique. I've had a go at signing in to a gob.es site using the Digital Cert and it seems to have worked. Now I have a [email protected]! I know with the [email protected] I can update personal details, get a cita previa for various services and apparently check if I've accumulated any fines! Is the [email protected] the same ...

Spanish Driving licence Photo

Apologies for the daft question...I had photos done for my Residencia application then found they were not needed. The photographs show me smiling. Does anyone know if there is a requirement for a driving licence photo to show face not smiling? I don't want to go all the way to Granada and be told t...

Voluntary work in La Herradura

I hope this is an appropriate forum to be posting this query. I'm looking for voluntary work in or near to La Herradura. I don't want to simply drift through the days enjoying the wonders of the place (although there's nothing wrong with that), but rather I'd like to find something to do that allows...

Recommendations for La Herradura?

My wife and I are looking forward to our first Christmas in Andalucia. Living in La Herradura and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for Christmas day and also New Years Eve. We were thinking of the Mirador, Cerro Gordo but thought beachside might be a better bet. Chambao de Joaquin is adver...

Re: Am I legal?

Thanks, Sid. Much as I thought. Biggest problem is that we're here on a reconnaissance visit, renting for (potentially) 12 months but, to a certain extent, at the whim of the landlord/owner who might get a better offer or put the rent up hugely. Hence I haven't done a SORN on my car nor notified per...
