Concur with the rent, rent, rent sentiment. Look before you leap in to a new country and the very turbulent Spanish housing market. Once youve looked, there may be a FEW real house sale bargains, living in the Nerja area there are probably a handful of bargains in amongst 100's of nightmare purchase...

When we first moved to Spain, Nerja area, about a year ago; we used Mobile wifi for a few weeks. Basically an Orange pay as you go data SIM in a Huawei mifi device. It worked fine, but obviously if you are using things like Skype you will eat bandwidth rapidly. More of a get out of jail card than a ...

Access to properties is often an issue with large removal lorries.Sometimes a customer will say that they can easily get a 40ft lorry in the drive or that the Spanish builders truck gets up etc,However,a lot of the Spanish builders trucks are all short wheel based to make it easier to get access to...

Hi! We use Novotel quite a lot when travelling with our dog (black Lab), maybe not the cheapest but a good balance. For an overnighter half way in Spain we have used Novotel Madrid Sanchinarro.
