Re: Avena and Alfalfa

Fair enough.

Sadly my contacts won't help as I doubt they deliver that distance. One is in Alcala la Real, one is in Venta Valero, near Alcala la Real and the other is down near Granada.

Best of luck

Re: Avena and Alfalfa

I may be "teaching my grandmother to suck eggs" but here goes... Are you looking to buy some right now? If so, don't bother - there won't be any of last year's crop left and this year's hasn't been harvested yet. It seems to come in late April/early May and when you DO find some - ...

Hi, Thanks for the update Ulli. I've edited my previous post ...as the road is off to the LEFT . turning right will take you straight down the mountain side  The only other dogsledding is in another resort ( Puerto de la Ragua ) some distance from Pradallano if the website is up todate. Re: Sierra Nevada

Hi Mark, On one of our trips up to Pradallano, within site of the underground car park there is a sharp turning off to the LEFT we followed that road round to Hoya de la Mora where we parked and people were hiring out all kinds of kit, we tobogganed there. Saw some Huskies walking but not pulling. H...

Re: ITV problems

HI Beach, Love the links...Dr Dave is a character 67,384 posts..its a wonder he has time for any work  Most disks have 1.5 - 2.5 mm thickness difference between new and minimum, so not a lot to mess about with. Like Julian and Spanish have said clean up the "marks " on the disks and...

Re: ITV problems

Hi Beach, Getting on to the "gray" here , disks have a minimum thickness and should be replaced on that limit. Most are ventilated these days, so going below the minimum is a no go. If the vehicle has been standing around the the pads can leave marks on the disks, so driving around will so...

Re: ITV problems

Hi,
MOH says take wheels off and have a look. Brake disks should be shinny on the pad contact area, if they have a distinct lip on the outer edge and cracks on the surface they should be changed ASAP.
Normally they wear over time and are service item.

Re: Getting your pet ready to go back to the UK “is simple”

Hi, One would hope the DEFRA site was up todate :? They have updated their approved list of carriers and routes, as Brittany-Ferries have just started doing Santander - Portsmouth. So to cut some of the hassle best to use an Approved vet who can do all the paper work as well as the jabs and getting ...

Hi,
Bit confusing, only the Granada Lab is on the DEFRA approved list for Spain. :?:

Local English inland publication (free) recently had a full page article on Pets Passport info, so it is getting out there what pet owners have to do.
