Re: Flying

Whether we fly or not this year is dependant on a vaccination becoming available. Hence 'maybe' No jab no fly. Nor would we fly the kids here. Already canned our grandkids visit in August, and our trips back, including Christmas.

Re: Adverts

Thought they got paid for clickthroughs not displaying. But then what do I know. I have the blocker primarily for sites like daily mail.

Brave does have the facility to easily turn on/off on a per site level

Re: Salud Responde App Working or is it down?

Maybe old news. The Salud Responde app now has a coronavirus section. Select your registration in the app and a new purple icon ha appeared. Contains information and a symptom checker that you can fill in and send off for a diagnosis.

Only in Spanish, like the rest of the app.

Re: VPN Recommendation

My router does have vpn capability, in fact quite smart as you can specify by mac addresses which devices use vpn and which don't. However i find that the speed hit is much greater than when i configure vpn on individual devices. So i tend to go with the latter.

Re: Outlook Express & Windows XP

Basically means that there is a problem connecting with the smtp server in order to send mail. Could be an issie with the pc, or AOLs smtp server. Have any changes been made to the pc recently, eg antivirus, firewall settings etc, outlook settings? Do AOL have an alternative smtp server that you cou...

Re: Outlook Express & Windows XP

You could create a gmail account then configure outlook express to use googles smtp server and use your gmail user/password to authenticate and send mail.

No need to change any other Outlok settings for downloading received email, nor change her current email address.

Re: Outlook Express & Windows XP

Looks like an issue with whatever smtp (outgoing) mail server is configured within the app.

When the message fails to send is some form of error message displayed? Or does the mail appear to send and a mail message saying delivery failure is returned?

Re: Warning Light In Car

MAF sensor failed on my Merc ML putting it into intermittant limp mode. Tricky to diagnose as no fault was logged. Bought a replavement off ebay for 20something quid which sorted the problem. Easy to change, or quick job for a garage.

Nothing to eat. Thickish skin, loads of seeds and the loofah skeleton. No use in a hot bath as they go soft almost immediately.

Re: ?anyone tried growing luffa?

Easy to grow. We had, maybe a dozen plants last summer. I would say treat like courgettes or cucumbers but ive never grown either of them.

Planted next to irrigated fruit trees and that was pretty much it. Pick and peel when ready.

Pretty sure that i paid $34 for two years subscription for smartdnsproxy. Run through the 30 day eval, wait a wee while and they will send you an offer. Service works like a charm and I'm on my second 2 year subscription.

Quite a lot more, something like £7 per month rather the 35euros-ish per year, can't remember exactly. The euro cost is easily covered by free postage on orders.
