Re: Guardia and the CV rules.

Notaries are working but not open to the public, but equally Lyric has not got his new passport yet! I guess eventually they will open for business again! I think, although I am not sure, that you can also get an authorised copy from the Police National, maybe someone could confirm that, I think als...

Re: Guardia and the CV rules.

Hi Lyric

Maybe when you get your new passport it is worth getting a notorised copy or two. It is recognised officially and you can leave it in the car, or wherever. Mine was recognised when I went to vote and also when once stopped by the Guardia Civil for not stopping at a Stop...(Got no fine!!!!)

Re: Coronavirus

Wicksey, have you tries using a dishwasher tablet on dirty oven, particularly the glass door. Dip it in hot water and rub!!! Comes up like new. Another thought, although I am sure many have done it, I photoed my dog documents onto my mobile so I can proved the little monster is mine, just in case st...

Re: Emergency Measure and ITVs

I left my can with the mechanic, or in his garage, which is a proper workshop. I have taken the view that if it is in the way they will get it done as soon as they can. I'm not going anywhere and still would not be comfortable driving around without itv. As we all know, police can vary!!

Re: Emergency Measure and ITVs

Cheers for that. I may be lucky. My garage made the appointment and is at 11am or so. Fingers crossed, I'll keep you posted. By the way, ITV appointments are really difficult to come by this years so if you need one make it asap. I made mine weeks ago and even then it was actually due last Thursday ...

Emergency Measure and ITVs

Hi folks Just my luck, I had an ITV booked tomorrow and the car is in the workshop. Does anyone actually know what is happening with that? It seems there is confusion and wouldn't car mechanics be essential service like errr hairdressers...? I saw this and they are confused as well. And if they are ...

Re: CANCELLING MOVISTAR & RETURNING THEIR EQUIPMENT

Hiya Benedorm Fine, understood.   I just changed to MasMoviil and am delighted. Cheaper, more efficient and communicative and just nearly went berserk with the intransigence of Movistar, so just thought I would post to help out others. Have a lovely weekend.........  ...

Re: CANCELLING MOVISTAR & RETURNING THEIR EQUIPMENT

Benedorm In no way did I imply it was a problem for foreigners. I was calling in Spanish and just went round in circles or was cut off. Any Telefonica leaver would have the same problem. All I was trying to do is say that you do not need to contact them to return equipment, merely take it into a sho...

CANCELLING MOVISTAR & RETURNING THEIR EQUIPMENT

Having just stopped using Movistar, who appear to be shoving their TV service onto you if you want it or not, :x :x :x and making you pay for it, I have shifted to MasMovil. So far I am very happy with them - they came round & installed in record time and on time. However, My problem w...

Re: Modelo 210 - Late Payment

To pay a late IBI here (it happened to me once) you have to go to the town hall and get a revised bill, including fine, as the banks wouldn't accept it if it were overdue.
May be different where you are............

I believe, though, Gerry, that the numbers dictate how many fire stations, health centres etc you have so should you be bothered by that it may be worth signing on.

Spanish Citizenship

Hi there For anyone aspiring to be a Spanish citizen I am pleased to say that mine has come through although I only applied two months ago.   I have to say I was rather surprised at how fast that happened. Re: Roca toilet parts

For anyone in this area there is a Roca parts shop Proinco in the poligono in Estepona and I have to say that their service is second to none. Even if you are buying a one euro thing they really go out of their way.
Can't praise them highly enough.
