Re: FOREIGN & COMMONWEALTH OFFICE APOSTILLE STAMPS

Well Beach. Last year I got documents Apostille stamped with no problem last year. I sent them off and they came back by return, duly stamped and ready for translation. An easier transaction one could not have asked for.

My point was that they are not offering this service at the moment.

FOREIGN & COMMONWEALTH OFFICE APOSTILLE STAMPS

hI Fortunately not a problem for me, but it may be for some people trying to legalise documents, as told to me by a friend. The FCO is currently not working on all cylinders and is basically, to be kind, dragging its feet seriously on Apostille stamps. This friend of mine has encountered real proble...

Getting DNI & changing numbers

Hi

Does anyone know if, when you get a DNI, what happens to your other things that are registered to your NIE?

Do they get swapped over automatically (praying !!!) or do I have to do the lot myself? :?: :?: :?:

Help would be gratefully received.

Cheers

Re: Applying for UK Pension in Spain

My understanding is that I have to go to the INSS because I am here and have worked a bit here as well as my 35 years in UK.

The form above does not seem to be the right one to apply from here, I do not think

Applying for UK Pension in Spain

Hi there    Does anyone know how you do this? I think it is through Social Security, but any other details would be gratefully received like what documents you need (plus photocopies, of course!) and how long before the date it is due should you apply? Many thanks in advance folks ...

My ITV done at last this morning.

Also renewed driving licence which ran out end of April.

Re: Guardia and the CV rules.

Notaries are working but not open to the public, but equally Lyric has not got his new passport yet! I guess eventually they will open for business again! I think, although I am not sure, that you can also get an authorised copy from the Police National, maybe someone could confirm that, I think als...

Re: Guardia and the CV rules.

Hi Lyric

Maybe when you get your new passport it is worth getting a notorised copy or two. It is recognised officially and you can leave it in the car, or wherever. Mine was recognised when I went to vote and also when once stopped by the Guardia Civil for not stopping at a Stop...(Got no fine!!!!)

Re: Emergency Measure and ITVs

I left my can with the mechanic, or in his garage, which is a proper workshop. I have taken the view that if it is in the way they will get it done as soon as they can. I'm not going anywhere and still would not be comfortable driving around without itv. As we all know, police can vary!!

Re: Emergency Measure and ITVs

Cheers for that. I may be lucky. My garage made the appointment and is at 11am or so. Fingers crossed, I'll keep you posted. By the way, ITV appointments are really difficult to come by this years so if you need one make it asap. I made mine weeks ago and even then it was actually due last Thursday ...

Emergency Measure and ITVs

Hi folks Just my luck, I had an ITV booked tomorrow and the car is in the workshop. Does anyone actually know what is happening with that? It seems there is confusion and wouldn't car mechanics be essential service like errr hairdressers...? I saw this and they are confused as well. And if they are ...

Re: CANCELLING MOVISTAR & RETURNING THEIR EQUIPMENT

Hiya Benedorm Fine, understood.   I just changed to MasMoviil and am delighted. Cheaper, more efficient and communicative and just nearly went berserk with the intransigence of Movistar, so just thought I would post to help out others. Have a lovely weekend.........  ...
