Re: Carta de Invitacion

So, the implication is that individual EU countries can control their own borders! Well, there's a thing. Particularly as (non EU) Uk seems to have been dragging its feet to close its borders during Covid. UK is being particularly nasty with some EU nationals, handcuffing and chucking in clink. And ...

Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain

I had my first AZ jab yesterday. I was called on Tuesday for appointment Wednesday. I went a bit early, went straight through to a small queue, having been given a number. I did not show any ID, just pointed out my name on the list. In and out in 20 minutes including a 10 minute sit down.

That could be, firsttango is because of all the expectations of Unicorns, along with sunny uplands, that were promised with Brexit.

Re: Travel Covid requirements

It is bizarre how people search for loopholes. Why not just tow the line? If you want a real laugh follow the blunders of one Laurence Fox, ex-actor and failed musician. He is now running for London Mayor and he is anti everything. He maintains he has some sort of needle phobia, but seems plastered ...

Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain

I agree that we should stick to reportage on the vaccinations in Spain. Anecdotal evidence from residents in Andalucia is interesting and informative. Anecdotal evidence from other countries is meaningless and not helpful, given the purpose of this particular forum. Perhaps posters could indicate if...

Re: The 90 day Allowance & Deportations?

All people who come here benefit from driving on the roads, walking in the street on the pavements, policing, emergency healthcare, garbage collection, street cleaning sewage etc etc all public services.

Re: The 90 day Allowance & Deportations?

Two wrongs do not make a right. At least if Spanish are stopped they probably have documentation and can be pursued. Neither is right, but the British are guests in this country. My understanding is that it is not easy to get an ITV on a UK reg car and so no insurance. It is not done 'by mistake'. I...

CARREFOUR BOUGHT SUPERSOL

We have a Supersol locally and it is very below par. I know many of the others are not, I think this one is the Siberia of Supersols. They are gradually introducing Carrefour products but no-one there seems to know when they will rebrand and completely take over. The staff do not know, but having sa...

Re: TREADING CAREFULLY MIXERS

Wicksey, disdainers who leap in every time I post, whatever I say... not Lidl!!!

The can is very identifiable as it is very pink. I think it was 22 cents per 33cl, making it a Euro a litre. I would say it has a very tonic-ey taste but not anything else I can detect. Quite a strong taste.

Re: IF YOU ARE PROLIFIC CRIMINAL WHY HAVE A TATTOO?

I would like to point out that I was asking why, if you wanted to lead a life of crime why would you have them, a tattoo was quite an identifying feature. I in no way implied that all those that have tattoos are criminals! After all, Cheryl (Cole) has an enormous one on her behind and I do not think...

IF YOU ARE PROLIFIC CRIMINAL WHY HAVE A TATTOO?

This has always confused me, if you are a criminal why have a body identifying tattoo. Just a thought? Is it a way to identify people, it must be. So Why?

I have found a great mixer from Lidl which is Tonica Pink, Baja en calorias. It is great. Wait for the disdainers & disclaimers
Goes well with all the usual suspects..............

I have personal connections with Windrush, that movement in general. I do not quite understand why you think you have the right to dictate what others write. I certainly do not need journalistic direction from you, of all people. :lolno: :lolno: :lolno: :lolno: :lolno: You are quite funny to read, m...

Re: The 90 day Allowance & Deportations?

Mark, to answer your question about 'woke'. I think they got to 'woke' because 'politically correct' was a bit complicated for them. It appears to be unfashionable in certain quarters to actually care about your fellow human beings, the environment, or anything that does not drum up dosh for the 1% ...

Rather have the Guardian than the Mail!! I will not be dictated about the discussion subjects - and just where the complainant live? Yes, Spain is my home but I'm sticking with the discussion in hand, as I believe should be the case. The subject under discussion was illegal Brits in Spain and then a...

Re: The 90 day Allowance & Deportations?

Yes. It does seem particularly English to joke about poor asylum seekers and refugees fleeing from wars primarily caused or certainly helped along by countries like UK and USA. I am sure the illegal Brits from Spain will delight in being slung into an old army camp unfit for human habitation. This i...

I'm not sure I am allowed to say this, but there was quite a full discussion on this on TRE Radio 12-1pm today with Stephen Ritson. Many callers in saying how they will get the jab despite being on private healthcare. You can listen on playback. It did appear that is is vital to sign on at the Padron...
