Re: How thinking it is clever to not follow the law can cost

I agree, I am appalled at how many people are working full time and making more than the normal wage and not declaring it too, and it is done very openly.......I don´t object to people who are earning less than the personal allowance and working part time (and clearly not well off) but the others......

Re: New tourist rental law finalised

None of the information above is accurate. THe law has been passed, just, but it is not in the BOJA yet and needs to be published there. Then there are 3 months from that date within which you can get the property registered on the Register. However I have read that the people responsible for the Re...

Claiming legal costs

Is there any way of claiming back your legal costs (such as solicitors and expert reports) when you are involved in a criminal case against someone? The Courts made it a criminal case as the value of the damage done to our property way exceeds 400 euros...........

Re: Grexit. Any impact on Spain day to day?

THe thing is if Greeks had paid the taxes due then Greece could make its payment....... The whole situation is a kind of crazy alternative reality and of course the germans will suffer the most so they are busy shaming the Greeks.............we are so far removed from the reality of hard cash now it...

Re: Dogs on the beach

Not a total ban, there is a beach at one end of Mojacar that allows dogs year round and even has signs up, not been there myself but know people who have and seen the photos.........quite amazing since Mayoress of Mojacar is far from popular and not known for open-ness or innovation

Re: More inheritance tax questions

How do they decide you have been a resident of Andalucia for 5 years? By your tax returns? By registering at the Foreigners Office? I thought the 175000 euros was only from a spouse or registered partner and that inheritances from parents or other relatives do attract IHT according to a sliding scal...

Re: Non-working dishwasher
