Re: Avocados

I did not usually collect mine until January/February. The company that I sold to did not accept them before this. I had to check and see if they were accepting them as they wanted them fresh off the trees. For personal use, they can stay on the trees for a very long time.

Re: Money Transfer

I also use XE formally Hifix and am happy with their service. I have not used any other provider. Their website is very easy to follow however you do need to register and they will ask for some details. They will then give you details as to how the process works.

Re: Selling our rural house.

Yes it does, and no I can not explain. I think the threads above outline the problem, and allude to the fact their is no current solution at our level. 'They' are never identifiable.
Beachcomber has explained it in very clear terms.
I am a very happy Spanish resident who is also a victim!

Re: Uk state pension been underpaid to women

it's the worst state pension in European Union, if they had not plundered it to pay for bailouts etc it could have been so much better and it was not only Conservatives that did this but Labour as well. Whilst I go along with your observations, the statement re plundering is not true. There is no g...

Water in is done by Iznate town hall, assuming you are talking potable water and not irrigation.

3.2 + 6.7 do not actually tell us anything! I have used Piscinas Mediterraneo before and found them good. The owner/partner is an electrician.

Re: anyone know anything about fosas negras ?

It is against the law to allow grey water to enter the water table. In this case I would think this is worse than grey water. Certainly needs investigation.

The non return valve would be to stop the pump when it kicked in, from sending the water into the town water inlet.

Has anyone else come across this and know models that have this facility?
My Hisense TV has satellite input but only single. I reverted to using my Humax with two inputs for the facility to record whilst watching another program. The program guide is also much better on the Humax/sat box.
