Re: Travel to Scotland....Hep Please!

Thank you all so much. Sounds so much simpler to do now that it has been 'translated ' into words I can understand. The info regarding the test companies was extremely useful.
I feel confident now that I can sort everything out.
Will not forget to pack the thermals!!

Re: Domestic Flights

A bit more research and help from forum members tells me that as a spanish resident I will only need the eu certificate and the QR code obtained via the FCS on the ibsalut website. No need for tests....apparently, at the moment.

Domestic Flights

Does anyone know the requirements for a domestic flight, in particular the mainland to the Balearics for a Spanish resident who is fully vaccinated and has the eu certificate?

Re: Bank charges on pension deposit.

It's the state pension I was referring to. It's just with all the new bank charges I want to avoid any more 'extra fees'. What happened to the free banking we had a few years back?? The banks used to offer accounts with free cards and no maintenance charges to entice you and now they seem to charge ...

Re: Shingles

Thanks.
I suspect I have it, I've had it before and have the same symptoms. It was about 12 years ago and I can remember how awful it was....the worst I'd ever felt and it lasted ages.

Anyone know the Spanish for shingles? Google comes up with a few alternatives. It's just the everyday word for it I want not the foreign sounding medical term!

Now Entitled to My Own S1

I have been entitled to the Spanish Health Care System for the past 2 years as a beneficiary of my OH's S1. Previous to that we were both covered for a few years by some law that granted us the right to it as long term residents...something that came about a few years back?? Now that I am 'of age' a...

Re: Living in Spain after Dec 31, 2020

It is time for holiday home owners who spend long periods in Spain, usually in the winter months, to realise that this will no longer be possible. It is purely the result of the Brexit vote. I know many people who are used to winters in Spain who were happy to vote for Brexit. They will just have t...

Picking ours up on the 28th. Read somewhere that if we refuse to accept it (due to the wrong wording) they will return it and a new one would be issued muy pronto....anyone done this?
