Might have to bite the bullet and go for full socket change, I’d like a couple added too so think makes sense to get a qualified man in and do all at once. I’m blind as a bat and handless so no danger of doing it myse...

Going back tomorrow for more plants, looked for dipladenia yesterday but couldn’t see any? Must have looked in wrong place?? I’m addicted now. Spotted some lime trees, would those thrive?? Easy to grow?

Re: Plants in pots

Stage 2 planting happening this weekend. Oh I love the idea of my own lemon tree, now on my wish list. I’ve googled dipladenia and that looks lovely. I’ll look out for it on my visit to the garden centre. Everything I bought last time thriving so definitely good quality plants. My favourite so far i...

Re: Urbanisation bans all plants in my own garden

Antifreeze, even if you’re joking this is so not funny. I lost a cat to anti-freeze poisoning, a neighbour in Scotland put down poisoned bait to stop badgers digging up his garden. My cat died the most horrific death.

Re: Dog mess rules - Ronda area

What are the rules on dogs in public places on the lead. Despite dogs being on leads in a small local square and me religiously Being busy with poo bags and water bottle just been harangued by a Spanish neighbour. They’re small, quiet and well behaved. Guess she’s not a dog lover!

I see Frigiliana town hall now require dog pee to be washed away. As far as I can see, I’m one of the few complying? Here’s hoping it will improve matters.

Mission accomplished, garden centre visited, plants bought, just need to plant them up. What a great garden centre, great selection of plants and so cheap. Thanks for the recommendation.

Thanks Wicksey, we have partial shade so hopefully I won’t cook too many plants. I’m looking forward to getting the gardening gloves on and creating something pretty. Lots of good suggestions, thank you.

Plants in pots

Hi there, looking for advice please. Moving over full time next week and plan to plant up my balconies. What thrives and is suitable for planting this time of year? Going to use terracotta pots of various sizes. I’d like to mainly have flowers, plus perhaps chilli peppers and herbs. Also looking for...

Park in the main underground car park as you come into town, it’s on your left and clearly signposted. The pool is a 5 minute walk around the road that goes around the bottom of village heading towards Acebuchal.
