Re: Is PCR test required for entry to Spain?

Thanks for sharing the link to the portal Paddy. I have bookmarked the site and I'll keep an eye on it for changes. I assume the will allow entry once more people are fully vaccinated.

Is PCR test required for entry to Spain?

Has anyone on this forum entered Spain from the UK or an EU member state recently, through any airport or port? Is proof of negative (i.e. no COVID) PCR test still required on entry? (PCR test costs approximately 150 euros in Ireland.)

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

Thanks Enrique, I tried the AEAT site. Registration for AEAT looks complicated! I've sent an email to the bank. It's impossible to get anyone on the phone.

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

I submitted Modelo 210 online on 27th December, with IBAN of our Spanish bank account. It all seemed to have worked smoothly (compared to previous years). However, the tax has not been deducted from our bank account. I called the Agencia Tributaria (I speak Spanish, so language is not an issue) but ...

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

Acronyms, acronyms! What does NRC stand for? It is mentioned several times in this and other threads on the forum, but I can't find it spelled out anywhere.

Re: Anyone read a good book lately ?

"Homeland", by Fernando Aramburu. Set in the Basque country. A great read about a beautiful part of Spain. If you want something more topical, "A Journal of the Plague Year", by Daniel Defoe: a fictional account of one man's experiences of the year 1665, when the bubonic plague s...

Gift vouchers

I want to send a gift voucher to Spanish friends, who live in Madrid. As I, unfortunately, can't visit them this year (because of Covid!), I want to send a voucher to them. I know I can get a Corte Ingles voucher, but is there any other type of voucher in Spain, that can be used in a variety of plac...

Re: Chiringuitos

There are some very good Chirringuitos about 10 km from Marbella, between Elviria and Cabopino. Some of our favourites: - El Laurel - Chirringuito Carlos y Paula - Restaurante 200 (probably not strictly a chirringuito, as it is a building, rather than a wooden structure, but very good food and frien...

This is not helpful. We have had a place in Spain for six years and so far we have not had any problems with Endesa's service.

Re: Finding a gestor

The reason I asked on this forum is that I was hoping someone would recommend a gestor.
For someone who has chosen to live in Spain, it is disrespectful to generalise and make negative comments about Spanish people.

Endesa air conditioning

Has anyone used the air conditioning supplied by Endesa? They appear to have a good payment plan. What's their service like?

Re: Dental implants

Dental care is even more expensive in Ireland than in the UK, especially when you go for complicated procedures such as implants. Moreover, they are not covered by most health insurance policies here. I got a quote for an implant from a dentist in Spain last year, and it wasn't much cheaper than in ...

Repair electric persianas

When we bought our apartment in 2012, we replaced the manual persianas with electric ones. One of these is broken. We have been calling the company who installed them for the past three weeks, and we are fobbed off each time, saying they are very busy and have a big job on at the moment. Can anybody...
