Re: New CaixaBank fees ... time to change banks?

I am not a resident that is why the charges are even higher. I used them for house insurance as it was easier at the time of purchasing my house. Doubled from this month. So I will give the email a shot. Thank you

Re: Shop local, save your shops ! Perhaps the people who say that are rich?

Hi Pamela 1. Fear not. It is going the other way where I live since Covid. Folk are reluctant to shop for big items online. They fear lost items as so many deliveries are going astray. They fear customs charges. A lot of sites look like you are ordering from UK but in fact they are 'middle men' and ...

Re: Presents from Amazon.UK

Nothing to do with exports, sorry. I didn't know how to send my Amazon kindle books to my other kindle. I pressed the 'call me' button and received a call within seconds. The lovely chap talked me through it in seconds, job done.

Re: New CaixaBank fees ... time to change banks?

I am in the same position as you Patricia. My fees at Caixa have become £22 a month. Just noticed this month that my house insurance has doubled without notification. I cannot communicate as do not speak enough Spanish. So will have to wait until I can get over, whenever that will be. I am really ma...

Re: Getting to airport

By Province do they mean you can travel anywhere in Andalucia except areas with enhanced restrictions? If so, it may not be a problem. Depending on your flight time, you could take the fast train from Marchena to Malaga. I have done this from Seville a few times with the Tarqeta Dorada, so quite che...

Re: First actual problem re:Brexit

I have used my credit card for Arnold Clark and Enterprise in Inverness. I told them that I did not have a credit card. But even if they had refused my bank is in the same street so would have gone into the bank to get cash.

Re: First actual problem re:Brexit

I use my British Debit card to hire cars in UK. I don't have a credit card. But some Spanish car hire places will only take Credit cards. I have winged it a few times when they haven't seemed to notice. Is this because it is easier to block money on a credit card? I also use my debit card for bookin...

Such a shame but they are told all the time that they have no case in law. A lot of them worked all their lives in very low paid jobs
