Re: Solar PV - Feed In Tariff or Net Metering ?

If you are a prosumer, ie producer and consumer via the same meter then net metering is used. The calculation done each month, and you can not be credited for more than you consume even if you fed in more. Electric company keeps the extra and you receive no payment for the extra.

Re: Cyclists

I'm sure 2 abreast is legal in Spain. Appears to be, though should single out if causing traffic to back up behind them; Article 36.2 of the Spanish regulations – Código de Tráfico y Seguridad Vial – states: “2. It is forbidden for the vehicles listed in the previous section [including cyclists] [t...

Thanks for the extra information Peztis. Can’t say I have noticed either a OI or CD plate, but haven’t really been looking. Will do now though.

Blue car registration plates

Have noticed that there are a few cars on the Costa, not many, with blue coloured registration plates and white letters/ numbers rather than the common white with black letters and numbers. Definitely Spanish plates as I saw them on a local taxi this morning. Curious to know the significance, if any...

Defibrillators

Defibrillators, especially the Automated External Defibrillator (AED), seem to be popping up in loads of public spaces e.g. shopping centres, airports etc. in the UK, and elsewhere. They are designed for use by anyone, and do not require training in their use. Was thinking of proposing that out comm...

Re: Swimming Pool Safety Regulations for Communal Pools

Our pool was fenced off with gate access last year
This year there is talk of us having to install a lift, or other accessible means of access to avoid the stairs which lead to the pool. Apparently this is required for pools serving 20 or more apartments/homes.

I have over the years, repeatedly sang the praises of Royal car hire, based in Calahonda, they will deliver to the airport, and pick up when you've done, full full fuel policy. They are a family firm and because they are competing with bigger fish they will always go the extra mile ! Can you post co...

The Vuelta website gives good info: http://www.lavuelta.com/la-vuelta/2017/us/#

Contains a surprisingly interesting description of the Geology that the riders will ignore as they speed past for each stage.
