Re: No tourists until after summer

Yes i get your point Katy, no doubt that is to come when more destinations are added and airports around the country have more passengers, then the DM will have their field day, as will all the national press, lots of people congregating in queues won't go down well. What is the news on vaccine pas...

Your question relates to the formalities you must comply under the following circumstances. You are married to a Spanish national. You are a UK cit...

Re: Getting a Spanish Passport

As part of the Spanish Nationality process you have to declare that you have given up your UK nationality. Although the Spanish authorities don't require any proof that you have done this and indeed Spain does allow dual nationality for some countries If you were to use a UK passport after gaining S...

https://www.mapacovid.es/detail/Granada

Yes this map shows the Alhambra is in the Granada District.

Although I don't know if the positive cases are attributed to your home address or the health centre you attended so I wouldn't try to be over precise on numbers by region or District.

Re: Vaccine war with EU

I wonder if Boris did also, he has stopped ordering AZ also and gone with Pfizer.

I am still shaking my head at how nieve AZ have been. They picked a fight they couldn't win.

Re: Covid Vaccinations Spain

I lived in Asia so travel vaccines were something I was having on an almost annual basis.bI don't remember a time I didn't have a side effect. Be that a sore arm or feeling a bit groggy. There is a huge focus on side effects of the vaccines when the reality is side effects are normal, just as long a...

Re: Vaccine war with EU

You would expect Northern Ireland to be first to experience the slowdown...given they are the most vaccinated place in the UK that is the part of the country that will run into the problems first. So now the rest of the UK will have the same problems. I bet the UK wishes they were in the same positi...

You will need to spend 10 days in Portugal first before flying to the UK otherwise you by law should be treated/act like you have arrived from Spain.

The over reliance of the UK on AZ is causing a slow down in vaccinations.

Do you mean a UK passport holder who has emigrated from the UK and is resident in Spain?

If so yes you can go and return from Gibraltar.
Bring your passport and your proof of Spanish residency.

Re: Is PCR test required for entry to Spain?

Did you ask the OP when exactly they intend to travel? Or why they need to travel?

Also this test will be useless for a traveller to Spain as the results are not guaranteed within 72 hours

Re: Vaccine war with EU

Pfizer are being brave after the fiasco with AZ. Lets hope they can deliver. Pfizer have decades of experience with making vaccinations. AZ have none...and it shows. AZ were only chosen to partner Oxford because they are a British company. I guess that is why anybody reordering is going for P...

Re: Vaccine war with EU

It was the EU (Von Liarden) who took on AZ surely. If they want to pay through the nose that's ok. Maybe the EU will now allow the rest of the struggling countries to receive the AZ, Africa etc. The UK did the same, so they are paying through the nose also. ..see my post from April 29th https://www...

Without checking all of the list quite a few won't accept arrivals from the UK. So Boris says you can go....but they won't let you in to
Australia
New Zealand
Singapore

There is an EU 3rd country ban also which for example Spain is enforcing but not sure about Portugal or Malta.

EU buys 1.8 billion vaccines from Pfizer. AZ shot themselves in the foot by taking on the EU.
