Pahuna Nepalese restaurant Nerja

Loved our meal here. I think it’s newish? We asked the charming waiter for typical Nepalese dishes (as they also provide some usual Indian dishes) and they were delicious. He also explained the caste system and that certain castes were not allowed certain dishes. Good service, good food, reasonable ...

Re: Changes to Electricity Tariffs

I have only just heard of the news and I’m confused. Looked at my Endesa app and it says I’m on tariff “tempo happy”. That’s today, June 9th. So do this mean Endesa will soon switch me to the new time zones? From the posts earlier I assumed everyone was switched to the new time/cost periods n 1st Ju...

Re: No tourists until after summer

Can someone enlighten me. I thought Spain’s borders were closed to Brits unless they are residents. But I know of at least two families who have ferried across to visit their 2nd home. What exactly is or is not being enforced at the border or ferry terminal.

Re: No tourists until after summer

Hi Pamela Pretty sure it is the general NHS App. Blue in colour opens up with "how are you feeling today?" with "continue with NHS login?" below. Yes that's the one, it didn't ask for a passport when i did it and neither did the app take a pic, strange.. :? It must have already ...

Eco products

I usually bring over a range of eco household products from ecover for dishwasher, drains, washing machine etc. Also special toilet paper for septic tanks.

Can I get such products in nerja? Can’t spot much in eroski or mercadona.

The reason’s in his name. Manchester. The answer? The weather.

Reminds me of an acquaintance I have who has the nerve to say “the only Spanish people I want to speak to speak English”.

Re: Is PCR test required for entry to Spain?

Cases are 21 per 100,000 in the uk. Negligible compared to Spain. Spain I thought said that would mean no PCR test as long as the uk case rate did not rise ABOVE 50/100,000. No way that will happen before next week. I suspect Spain will, link it to green lighting canaries and Balearic. The same day ...

Fit to fly PCR test

I’m catching a ferry to Spain arriving 14:00 on the 2nd June (hoping border restrictions have been eased). I will need a PCR test not more than 72 hours before I arrive. But most of the express tests near us “aim” to get the result back by 10pm the next day but state that in “exceptional” circumstan...

Yes you can enter if you’re a resident. That’s why there are flights. If not it may be a very quick visit!

Re: Is PCR test required for entry to Spain?

My ferry for 31 May was cancelled today. BF rang me to put me on the ship Galicia on the 1st June. Hoping spain opens its borders for June 01 as I’m hearing France is closed until 9th June for non resident Brits.

Re: Building options

I’m pretty sure you will be required to use a spanish qualified/registered architect. He will advise on regs. There is nothing to stop you using British workers. Especially as spanish have very little knowledge about things lie damp proof courses, guttering and uk quality internal plastering. For th...
