Re: Citrus mealy bug infestation

I didn't want to use chemical spray on my citrus tree so I used cheap vodka. I kept spraying the tree and the mealy bugs eventually dried up.

Bugs

What bug is this? We have a lot of these bugs on our plants. Are they damaging my plants? We don't want to spray them because they seem to be very friendly with ladybirds, being side by side and I don't want to destroy ladybirds. What do I do? https://picasaweb.google.com/1017207332 ... 8739549682 S...

Re: Bug ID required please?

Thank you baroness, I have been knocking them of the flowers but left them lately. When the bug is on the flower it looks like it is buried inside the flower so you are right, it has to be eating the inside of the flower. So back to knocking them off and squashing them.

Re: Good Torremolinos Restaurants

Yes, I forgot, the non beach Casa Paco have music on in the evenings in summer. But I prefer the beach one. they were the first ones and I think that their food is better. Just a personal choice. The other Casa Paco opened much later. It is a family run business and the fatherr still oversee them al...

Re: Good Torremolinos Restaurants

If you like a Paella then there is a Restaurant on the Paseo Costa Lago called Casa Paco. their Paella is the best. The Restaturant is a beach one. There are two of them but the beach one does the paella best. They also have a good selection of fish dishes. Restaurant La Brasa is very good too, it i...

Re: A minor problem but I'm fed up with it

Alison, if you are near Hipercor/Supercor then buy Jamon cocido ahumado Praga. It is a slightly smoked ham sliced of the bone. The ham is dry, not the wet type. Have a look at their brochure, http://www.hipercor.es/hiper/hipercor/p ... DM=27&NM=1, it is on page 7. http://www.hipercor-espacioypunto.e...

Hi, can you tell me if you've notice any difference in the service since the changed to Movistar? The reason I am asking you is because we are thinking of changing to Telefonica.

bugsbunny, check out this place, http://rubenexchange.com/they used to do trips. I don't know if they do it now but they were very reasonable. We used them about 6 years ago. If you click on Torremolinos there is a map and the address on the page.

Re: uk phone number in spain?

Hi Julian, we have got "UK phone number in Spain thingys". It is Vonage and we are delighted with it. We pay £5.99 a month and can make as many calls a month as we like. It is good for our family and friends as they can call us without paying a lot for their calls.

Re: NOISY DISRUPTIVE CHILDREN

I agree with all the comments here. I can't stand disruptive noisy children. I think it is all down to parenting. If parents don't discipline their children and don't teach them what's right and what's wrong then children will grow up in to nasty adults who will then have nasty children. It is not e...
