Iberswitch

Does anybody have any experience with 'Iberswitch' (http://www.iberswitch.com)?

We have read an article in the euroweeklynews (24 -30 may 2012) about this power supply corp, but reading their terms doesn't give me too much confidence.

Any information will be appreciated!

Re: Careful with the Pepinos!!

The line right below the photograph with the German flag is fantastic:

According to a recent international poll Germany is the least funny country in the world

100% true! Maybe that's why you played with the words and wrote 'sour krauts' ?

Re: Careful with the Pepinos!!

or is everyone afraid of upsetting Germany? Sour Krauts? May I correct you: short form is plain and simple 'Krauts', long form is 'Sauerkrautfresser' (*beep* eaters).   They have made a big mistake by pointing immediately to Spain. (I didn't write 'we' because I don't fe...

Absolutely true.

Rest assured - it definitely isn't. 95% is hot air spread by the politicians.

Re: Careful with the Pepinos!!

What a hype! It's typical for Germans to point to others if they have a problem. It's typical for Germans 'to drive another sow through the village' (read: publish some panic articles) every year. And it's typical for Germans to make an 'elephant out of a mosquito' (read: exaggerate way over the top...

apartment wanted Torremolinos or free house sitting

Hi all, for my girlfriend I am looking for a well cared and clean apartment in Torremolinos, zona Bajondillo, Playamar, Los Alamos or possibly Churriana zona 'MONSALVEZ'. Long term 5-6 months. As an alternative she will offer free house sitting for June and July while I'll be in Germany. If the hous...

apartment situation Marbella

Does anybody know the current situation for apartment/piso rentals (long term) in the Marbella/Nuevo Alcántara area? Are they still overcharging? I am looking for an **unfurnished** apartment with living room, equipped American kitchen, bedroom, bathroom. (I don't like the ugly spanish trash in the ...

Re: Mobile phones: Simyo, Yoigo, or ??

Telefonica/Movistar prepaid. Grab a mobile phone at evilbay, get a SIM card, drop it in. Movistar features the best coverage in Spain. Try to avoid Vodafone - it's an endless hassle with them.
Just my 2 cents...

01. Abandon siestas - it's a real drag to keep in mind which store closes when and where and for how long 02. Mark, I've talked to my lawyer. A freebie for you  If the first contract you've signed didn't mention anything about a new commission if the contract will be renewed, the agent can't charge for his 'service'. The house is still rented to you. Usually a contract extends itself for one year. ...

Re: British and Spanish fight in Competa

OK, to be honest, I've just read page one, scanned the rest of the pages and read this page. Question: Did any one of you visit for example at least once or even twice late afternoon/early evening in autumn/fall or winter? We've been there several times last autumn and didn't trust our eyes. There w...

Re: Question about autonomo(yes, again...)

It is relatively simple. If the 'center of your life' (meaning you are living for more than 183 days in this country) is located in one of the European countries, you have to register yourself in this country. Physically you live and work in this country, so you have to pay your tax here. If you hav...

Re: Latest Residencia form?

Seems they are falling back into the stone age very soon. Somehow it turns out Spain is developing into one of the weirdest countries in Europe.

Anyway, thanks a ton for the info, so I'll wait a bit longer hoping they'll change the law again until January 2010.

Definitely third world. Or fourth. Sometimes even fifth if you are too close to the coast. You should have seen the 'nice' environments in Nerja last year. Trash piled up by the meters, not feet. Nobody cared. It stinks. For this and other nightmares we've left the coastal area and settled close to ...

Hiker, my car is 21 years old, so I just had to pay a reduced tax. The Spanish second hand cars are currently very reasonable, because the sales for new cars went down by 70% over the last months. It is cheaper to buy a car in Spain than in Germany because it'll save you the registration and all the...
