Re: Refilling my swimming pool

Blimey your town water is cheap.... Yes, it is only 1€ per m3. Our landlord was horrified that the bill was 30€ for two months in the summer, because we had a sprinkler on in the garden :wtf: It does vary alot from town to town - my girlfriend used to live in Alhaurin de la Torre and she tells me t...

Re: Refilling my swimming pool

is it illegal to use "town water" ? if we filled 60m3 it would only be 60€ for the lot.

might take about a week to do it tho.

Re: Water accion available?

wow, well there you go. Something that I didnt know about!

It seems like a crazy situation, especially for that cost?

I´d be fitting gutters and drains all over the place and having my own tanks on my land instead of paying out all that money.

The dont 'normally' go for yuccas, and as Cid says, its normally canary palms that get it, but i have seen washingtonias showing signs.. Some very high ones that we needed a 3 piece ladder and extension pole to reach. In my previous life as a gardener/handyman/electrician, we used to buy little blue...

Re: Rematriculating a Previously ES-plated Car

Good Morning, thanks Costakid, that is indeed 'what i do' - parking mainly, and customer ITVs, bodywork, mechanics, imports etc. The imports now we leave in the hands of a specialist, but the situation that you describe es-uk-es has actually happened. It was a couple of years ago, but as far as i kn...

Re: Water accion available?

Normally water is supplied by a big company (is it patamalara in torrox now?) , and comes directly to your house, from them, under the road, then theres a water meter outside your gate. The pipework from the meter into the house belongs to you, anyt...

Re: Water accion available?

I think you are asking for your own water supply ? Is the "builders" supply a black pipe dangling along the street etc? Is the house a new build ? I would recomend going to the office in Torrox Pueblo, and asking them about your own supply - but without a bit more information none of us ca...

Re: 10% Deposit for property

we were recently looking at a house being marketed exclusively by Red Piso (c/cadiz, malaga centro) and we were being "co-erced"? or "persuaded" to leave a deposit of 6000€ (to their account) on a house of €145,00 to "take it off the market" - and it was dependant on us...

How do they test electric handbrakes? This is the "brakes" testing procedure: You move your front wheels onto the rollers, when the rollers start moving and the machine "registers" that the car is there (you´ll see the guages on the screen move) the tester will tell you to "...

In our first house, we registered on the endesa APP, and paid all the bills that came to the house by visa card. We had a notification saying there was a bill, logged in, and paid it.. easy really, its a shame it cant be like that for everyone.
