Has anyone "recieved" anything because of the Covid-19 situation?

I was reading something a while ago saying that some car insurance companies were making reductions on next years premium because the car wasnt used (daily) for a couple of months. I would of thought that house insurance and house alarms would of been cheaper, because everyone was "in" for months !!...

Re: Transferring a vehicle after death

For some people 1000 euros is alot of money / takes them time to save up. it IS worth it, to them.

not everyone has the oppertunities that "we" do.

Re: Transferring a vehicle after death

This comes up alot with classic cars... and the circumstances are normally "ignored / not mentioned".. and rather a "reciept" is shown with the owners NIE and signiture on it.

Re: Reconnecting Electric and Water in property

Endesa see everything as a "new contract". As the OP´s lawyer has said, it needs upgrades and the box moving, and a certificate. He could go to endesa directly and ask to be put back on, but if they require a bollatin, then the house needs to be brought up to current code, there is no way around it,...

Re: CAR ITV - Whats going on??

Ahh.. and Re the website / app "not working"... I was told to call back later for some of my appointments - they have set the computer to prioritise the bookings for cars already ran out or close to running out. If your ITV runs out next month, you have to wait for a few weeks to make an appointment...

Re: CAR ITV - Whats going on??

I´ve just booked 32 ITV appointments, I´m going to be there every day of August, and a few days into September :wtf: According to the website, if the ITV on your vehicle runs out between the end of the state of alarm (21st of June) to the 31st of August, you get an extra 3 months to do it. If your I...

Re: Reconnecting Electric and Water in property

Re: the electrical side of things : I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but getting all that done, legally, is going to cost you a small fortune. Think about 2k if its "just" moving the box, making a few upgrades and doing a bollatin (certification of the work). If its a complete rewire, about 5k f...

Re: Online shopping in the Covid world

I know that everyone goes on about bezos and amazon, but did anyone realise that not 50% of the things on amazon.com are actually stocked or shipped by amazon? They are just acting as a massive "drop-shipping" website - selling a million different products from all different places. The same as carr...

Re: When you bought your campo house... was it registered? ie, did you get a mortgage?

So if a property has a nota simple then it must be registered? You can only get a nota simple (and anyone can get one for any house, with a few details) if the house is on the "registro de propiades" - which allows the bank to look at it and see if there are any loans / mortgages against the house....
