Re: Wildfires in Andalusia

The latest fire in mijas ended up being in alhaurin as well. My dad has ash all over the garden. From my house in cartama it looked very scary.

Thanks for the app. We called 112 and were on hold for 10 minutes before someone answered

No idea what the tax man has to do with this (hacienda) but they might take money if the car is scratched or you had a parking ticket etc

I cant help with that area, but good luck and have fun, you´ll love the laid back pace of life here. As for bread and fruit / veg - go to a local supermarket, they will have it all there. Theres probably a lidl / aldi / mercadona / carrefour nearby. Theres bound to be smaller shops that just do one ...

Any oil works too, wd40 etc, and some people heat bumpers to restore the black We get tyre shine in 20L bottles in work, that stuff is good too. If the car is in the sun i...

As well as that, the tinned food has gone from 32c to 50c a tin. Not unreasonable, but when you need to buy 20 tins at a time, that's a difference of 3.60 euro more. Doesn't sound like it would break the bank, but that's just one item. Shopping is definitely more expensive now. I wouldn't be surpris...
