Re: Bluetooth headphones.
Thankyou "Peteroldracer".
Does this mean that using the "optical output" is the answer to the problem of having to unplug?
Could we pair our existing bluetooth headphones with the gadget you mentioned or are they a package?
Cheers JB

Re: Windows Updates
Thanks Enrique.
Final question: I've also read that it's never a good idea to install " Optional" updates, unless for a partucular problem. Is that your view too?

How the devil did you know I was refering to KB 5001649?
You are absolutely right of course!
I've read that it could be a bit of a problem.

Windows Updates
I have decided to ignore an "Optional Update" in W10.
It is sitting there on the " Windows Update " page, waiting for me to install it.
How long will it stay there?.........it irritates me

Doc's Appointments
I read a few weeks ago that "face-to-face" appointments ( " presenciales")would be available after Mar.4th.
When I check this on the "Salud Responde" app, there are only telephone appointments available.
Does anyone have any update on this please?

I will,of course, buy the USB3 type.
Not sure what "Overheads in the copy /backup software" means.

Re: MAG 254 box
Cheers Enrique. The usb stick sits in the front of the box and allows me to download programmes ( it means we can watch them anytime: not just within the 2week "catchup" facility). The stick I use is a "PNY". I also have a "Sandisk", which gives me the same problem. How...

MAG 254 box
I have been using a MAG 254 box for a few years now. Recently a small problem has arisen: When I try to "download" a programme , it takes ages to "Complete" 100%. During which time the box becomes very slow to react to the handset; so I can't really do anything else whilst it dow...

Re: Laptop "Poser"
Thanks again Enrique. Had a look at the "disk-sleep"/ "hybrid" stuff. Far too technical for me.( all that jargon about "RAM" sends me into a coma) I think I'll opt for my laptop "Hibernating" of it's own free will! Sometimes trying to solve a problem is more s...

Re: Laptop "Poser"
Hi Enrique Thanks for the link. I follwed the instructions to extend the time before hibernating from sleep. Unfortunately in the section "Hibrernate After" , It is already set to "Never" when plugged in. So i cannot understand why it hibernates after only a couple of hours. http...

Re: Laptop "Poser"
Cheers Enrique. The link was very informative.Having read it,Im happy to leave the "Sleep-Hibernate" timings as they are. Your assurance that it was " Expected behaviour" not a fault, was basically all I needed. A Lovely picture, you paint,of your home-life with " Mrs E"...

Laptop "Poser"
I tend to use my laptop in short spells throughout the day.To this end, I have used "Power Options" settings to have my device "Sleep-When I close the lid" This is useful because whenever I return to it and open the lid: I'm back at the desktop in two seconds :P When I've finishe...
