Re: Renewing my Residencia
JK I renewed my residencia in Marbella last week. I arrived at 8am & there was a queue of about 20 people already. The police hand out numbers at 8.30 and the necessary form which you need to add your NIE number to & then you make a bit of a run down the road to the nearest bank to pay the f...

Re: Woman has her head chopped off in Tenerife !
And for all you posters who have never met this person, know anything of their background or actually care a **** about them, why are you trying to be martyrs by proxy ie displaying to us how much you "care" I absolutely despise hypocrites. Let me get this right, we have to have actually ...

Re: Woman has her head chopped off in Tenerife !
You lot really need to grow up! I think you have probably spent far too much time in the sunshine drinking the cheep beer & need to find something seriously more meaningful in life. Pathetic! I have 3 kids under the age of 12 who act with far more decency & maturity than you (Bowler/Peter) w...

Re: Malaga Flights Cancelled
I've just got back from Malaga after dropping my husband off. His Monarch flight to Manchester was cancelled by text message just as we were leaving the house. Other flights to UK are leaving but no seats on sale, we queued at easyjet/iberia/ryan air for over an hour only to be told any seats left w...

Re: Help,i need some directions
hi, you come off the a7 (N340) at La Cala de Mijas & head back as if you were doing a cambio de sentido, just before the turn off for the exit to the N340 heading back to Marbella you will see an exit straight in front of you, large restaurant called El Fogan or something like that I think, mark...

Did anyone go? Thought the forum would have been full of experiences due to all the excitement  Should get a decent turkey there. I went yesterday afternoon, not impressed at all! Don't bother looking for a fresh turkey, they have some frozen ready meals, biscuits, mince pies & bits &...

Re: A spanish paradox
I once worked with a Spanish guy who actually believed that the faster you drive on the N-340 the better as it means you aren't driving on it for as long because it can be a dangerous road!

Re: Low cost airlines(Again Again) They're not all bad are they?
I remember paying 350 pounds return from Bristol to Malaga in 1996/1997, 1 flight per week, take it or leave it. Made no difference if you booked months in advance either back then. I hardly ever get to go back to UK these days, far too expensive with 3 kids in tow plus accommodation, however have b...

I've been looking at these also recently, I understand the Yorkshire Linen Company just behind Lidl and next to Iceland at Miramar Fuengirola is now a stockist of JML products, I will pop in 1 day next week to check it out.

Re: Fit Flop Shoes / Sandals - whatever
Hi Hattie Sorry, but it's only SOME El Corte Ingles that stock them as per Jool's post. The 1 in Malaga is the main store in Avda. Andalucia and also in Puerto Banus. The actual fit flop site only shows these 2 addresses for this area for ECI. When I saw them in Banus they were in the sportswear sec...

Re: Fit Flop Shoes / Sandals - whatever
You can buy them at Elle Morgan in Marina Banus shopping centre also. I have seen the extremely small selection they have in the sports shoes section of El Corte Ingles, wasn't too impressed. I bought a pair at the beginning of last summer online from the UK & have worn and worn them, they are s...

Re: Renewing Residencia
My husband went to renew his residencia a couple of weeks ago in Marbella, he had to go in person & they would not allow me to do it for him on his behalf, don't know for sure but can't imagine children HAVE to be present, surely parents can complete the paperwork on their behalf? My husband had...
