Re: OCA licence
Thanks Footprint for that. Next question is if the horse owner already has a licence on another premises can she use it on mine. And if not, can the owner of the other premises use it or would they have to apply for their own licence.
Does the licence apply to the property or the person??

OCA licence
We are considering renting out our finca with 6 stables. The stables are block built in a row of six. 3 have doors and 3 have open fronts. Can somebody clarify who has to apply for the OCA licence, the owner of the property or the horse owner. I am getting conflicting stories from people. Also what ...

Re: When to spray for weeds - help please
I spray my weeds all year round. Takes about a week in summer and 3 weeks in winter to die. Make sure they are dry when you spray and no rain for an hour afterwards. I use Touchdown.

I think you are wrong. We book 2 people and one case. You get the option for each person when booking.

That is very interesting Anis. When we got someone to enquire at the town hall about a large area very near here that they are leveling out and spending a fortune doing. obviously something large in building being developed we were told it was none of our business!!

Re: Opticians
When I broke my glasses over here I went to an optician in Alhaurin and ended up paying 500 euros for an new pair. A lot more than I pay in Boots in the UK for buy one get one free. They are very nice glasses but very expensive. The one thing I have found in Spain to be very much more expensive than...

Re: English suppermarket Coin
SL you can't go down that slip road now! All one way. You have to turn at the next opening and come back.
The supermarket is called Buyrite and although not enormous is worth a visit. They have English bread and a very good selection of meat and veg. I found the one in Alhaurin to be very expensive.

We had one in a very old cottage in the UK. Floor was flagstone, walls and roof were fire bricks inside. All surrounded by lots of stone. Door was cast iron.

The planes are very active and flying right over my house very low. Lots of them. It is too cloudy to see anything on the mountain.

Re: Huge pall of smoke
Don't know if it is the same one but the flames are leaping into the sky not far from us. It is looking over the pig farm and beyond - difficult at night to see how far away it is but a bit too close for comfort. I was on my way to bed but a bit nervous now.

Re: Stain removal sheets and towels...help
Hanging them on the line in hot sunshine for a couple of days is definitely worth a try. I splashed curry on a white top. Tumeric is dreadful for staining. Soaked it for 24hrs in vanish and still there. left it on the line for a couple of days and the stain vanished.

Re: Clematis
I bought one and had it on a big pot. It flowered in the spring but shrivelled up in the heat. Lasted 2 years and then died on me. I think it gets too hot over here for much success with them.

That's great news Sid. I have had it a long time - when it first came out, so there shouldn't be a problem with the activation then.

Re: Installing W7 ultimate
I thought W7 passwords were more secure Enrique! I changed all my passwords on banks etc. as soon as it happened. Not much else of interest on there. I had everything of importance backed up on a couple of pen sticks. What I wanted to know is whether I would have problems activating this Ultimate pr...
