Re: Descaling American fridge freezer dispenser tubes?

That´s correct, mine is also fitted to the mains, and without the mains pressure you cannot dispense anything. It now takes over a minute to fill a glass of water. I would be very interested in sorting this if anyone knows anything?

Re: Descaling American fridge freezer dispenser tubes?

Hi Sid, should have mentioned earlier. I looked into that on the web. Seemed straightforward. Fill tubes with vinegar and run it through. Thing is , when I remove the inlet from the tap, the dispenser will not run. So I have no way of getting the vinegar into the pipes if there is no pressure to pus...

Hi all, I have a Whirlpool american fridge freezer with built in dispenser. I´ve had it for about 5-6 years now and the dispenser is getting painfully slow. I am guessing limescale. I called whirlpool for advice, but we all know the Spanish and their wonderful customer service  Wouldn´t e...

Fundraising in aid of Prostate Cancer

Hi all, I am growing a moustache for Movember this year and am looking for recruits to join my team. Movember is about raising much needed funds and awareness for men's health specifically prostate cancer and depression in men. Important when you learn that close to 3,000 men die of prostate cancer ...

Sending a horse to France - URGENT!!!!

Hi all, urgent question - can you send a horse to another country on it´s Libro de Indentificacion Caballar or does it need a passport? My girlfriend has sold her horse and we have been waiting 2 months for the passport, which means 2 months of stabling plus costs to get passport which at the moment...

Re: WhatsApp ?

The messages are sent via internet and it is more like a chat style messaging system, than texting. It´s the same type of thing that Blackberrys have with BBm messaging, which again is "free" but you pay for internet instead - Yoigo for exaple offer 500meg for 8 euros a month.

Need to do some small plastering repairs

Just wondering what I should be buying, escayola, yeso, enduido etc etc.

It's only a small area, just where it has flaked from the rains, any suggestions , anything that is easy and quick to use for a total beginner?

Re: Spanish court ruling !!!!!!!!!!!!

So why doesn't this work the other way? Think about it. The bank feels they have lost out on a property since it has devalued, even though they themselves lent the money after valuing it as such. Does that mean a repossessee (is that a word?) could then go after a bank and demand his extra slice of ...

Re: Walkable skylights/good window company?

Thanks again for the help guys. I gues we are stuck with these ugly skylights we have, unless we go for glass ones, but which again will not be flush with the floor. Oh to be a billionaire.

We have two in a very large room of around 40m2. They keep the chill off as long as you keep all connecting doors closed.

Re: Walkable skylights/good window company?

Thanks again for the great suggestions. Only trouble with the glass blocks - they're not openable like a skylight and therefore we wouldn't be able to ventilate in the summer/winter!
