Gibraltar's track and trace app is available to download. Wonder how it will work with many coming from Spain?

Re: Disappearing History

Yes a photo without explanation is irrelevant, especially when everyone has seen them before. An article here about the vandalism of Cervantes statue, and any others they could find. Doesn’t seem any explanation as to why even though they wrote bustard in red paint across it. https://bookandfilmglob...

Re: Retirement age Spain

Agree Pamela. Once had a tiler who had done a short uk course, he was rubbish. OH could have done it better and he isn’t handy. He had to knock some tiling off around the plug sockets and even he Improved the work.

How are Spanish apprenticeships?

Re: Disappearing History

I think Mark is trying to show that most of the protesters weren’t white although we know they were from live news. You can find anything you want on google including most demos where over 90% were white. Won’t bother though ha ha. Most of the statue smashers in uk were white.

Re: Coronavirus

POR used the phrase "writing off" not I. You really don't know much about dementia issues do you. What does this mean?

Re: Disappearing History

Perhaps Rishi could offer to repatriate the descendants as atonement  Cannot judge history on how the world is today. Probably many did not care about slavery but I still believe many did not know about their investments, most don't today. many of the working class in the UK were not far remov...

Re: EHIC renewal

It’s called travel insurance. Easily available. There might be a reciprocal deal but why should there be. It’s not a big issue and the UK government advice has always been to not rely on the EHIC and buy personal travel insurance. Sid True, you may not be allowed to travel back for months if seriou...

Re: Coronavirus

here's an alternative scenario: we should have ignored lockdown (the fittest will survive), not bothered about wearing gloves or masks (conflicting advice re effectiveness), nor had regard for social distancing as is a waste of space ie eat, drink and be merry with as many friends as you have ... n...

Re: Coronavirus

Performed or just lucky. Anyone who has been to NZ sees the difference to over populated Europe. Indonesia has had it’s highest total of deaths yesterday(82) and there has been questions about some of their figures too. Japan never had a lockdown. Part of Galicia gone into lockdown now...where will ...

Re: Coronavirus

Well what an evil pair of witches! Just writing off people who will be someone’s mother, grandma, uncle, husband....reminds me of the poison that too many people spat at the McCanns. I did include myself. Anyone who has known someone with dementia would not wish it on their loved ones. They don’t j...

Re: Coronavirus

Agree with Olive and Lavanda. Perhaps a short lockdown for 3 weeks max in the beginning. Most are in care homes for a reason such as dementia. Not just memory loss, they are doubly incontinent, can’t feed themselves. Not what most would want for themselves. I think the world is suffering from mass h...

Re: Disappearing History

Well it is open season now, Haile salassie now toppled and smashed. Help their cause won’t it not. Mark, Where is the evidence that slave owners were murderers, many just owned them on paper and never visited the plantations. Much of the beatings were done by black managers of the estates. Everyone ...

What next blacking out some of the Van *beep*’s dodgy bits with black servants featured...perhaps they could hire the incompetent Spanish restore...
