Re: Vaccine war with EU

Variants are detected by sequencing, many countries do not do it or very little, some just 0.5%. The UK and a couple of other countries are very good at identifying them. As I said check it out!

Re: Fit to fly test

Gibraltar Airport was good for the 72 hour one. Didn't leave it for the last day though. Went the day before, 5 mins., £30 and result text around 15 mins later. The worse hassle was having to arrange 2 day test to get a reference no. to fill in on the locator form. £44 each for a home test rip off. ...

The Parador has a lovely scenic terrace for drinks. English Cemetary is interesting and nearby. Nice shops and bars at the cruise port.

Boris will be quite happy if the EU closes to Brits. UK is on the last leg now with more than half of adult populat...

Re: No tourists until after summer

Agree. Look at the scenes yesterday in London when fans paid no attention to rules. Either scrap restrictions or do it properly like Australia and NZ.
Just a thought, should UEFA etc actually be asking for concessions and exemptions?

Re: Coronavirus

As I keep forgetting to put my mask on, it would be nice not to have to wear one. Most times out of doors there's few people around anyway, and it always feels a bit OTT to have to wear one when there's no-one else around. I have taken it off when it's completely deserted. So many people seem to we...

Re: Travel Covid requirements

I like a bit of luxury when I go away. A motor home would be ok for travelling but would like a base on arrival.

Re: Certificate for proof of Covid vaccination

And people wonder why I am fed up to the back teeth with this third world country and want to go back to England..! If you think England is going to be more efficiently run than here then I think you're in for a shock. Certainly GP wise, we are far better off here with telephone appointments availa...

Re: Documentation to Enter Spain as a Tourist

Doesn’t work like that, you are allowed 24 hours to be tested. Seeing that 2 planes landed we got a taxi to hotel and went back the next morning. Also no hanging around, result comes by text and email. We queued for around 5 mins and it is in the open air. The only others around were some of the Arm...
