Re: Valor Catastral
Muchas gracias for all the help with this. Miraculously we seem to have managed to print the forms. Hopefully we can pay at the bank and we will then be up-to-date

Re: Valor Catastral
Thanks Beachcomber and Enrique. One last question - I am going to pay for previous years as well as 2015. I know that fines and interest payments can be imposed. Is there a box for me to add in the extra that I owe or will they send me a bill?

Valor Catastral
I am trying to understand which valor catastral I need to use for modelo 210. Looking at my IBI there seem to be a number of different catastrals which all seem to vary apart from one. This is entitled Valor base. Would this be the one I use? Any help appreciated as the tax system seems to be a maze...

Form210
We stopped paying the imputed tax on form 2012 when it came to an end and mistakenly assumed that the slack was taken up by increased IBI charges. We have only just discovered our mistake and now it would appear we are several years behind on paying the imputed tax covered by form 210. I would very ...

Re: Warfarin
Just an update in case anyone else has a similar problem in future, After some hassle explaining things in various places I discovered that I could get the INR test done at the local consultario by the nurse there, using a machine that gave an instant diagnosis. They will only do it provided your la...

Re: Olias to Comares Road
Thanks for that prompt reply. We got caught out last time on the very first day of the road works and had to go via Colmenar. Nice to do it once, but that's quite enough

Re: Warfarin
That sounds rather disturbing as INR tests for warfarin need to be returned on the same day so that the dose can be adjusted to keep the blood at the correct thinness

Re: Warfarin
Thanks for your replies. My nearest health centre is at Benamargosa so I presume they would be able to do it there. I have heard that some pharmacies are also able to do blood tests. Any further information on this and also turn around times for results would be most appreciated. Thanks again

Warfarin
I am currently taking Warfarin to thin my blood and may need a blood test to check my INR whilst in Spain for a couple of weeks. Any advice on going about this would be appreciated. There is a chemist in the village and a health centre in the nearest town.

Seville
We are planning a short trip to Seville. Can anyone recommend accommodation there with parking. Going on previous experience of other cities in Andalusia we thought it may be better to stay outside of the city and use public transport to get in. Thanks

Re: Malaga Airport Smoking Room
I remember the foetid room they used to have in Brum airport. It seems to me it says it all re smoking that anyone should be so desperate that they would volantarily go in there.

Re: False ceiling
You could have it sprayed with polyurethane foam. Or if the bricks are firm enough you could screw wooden battens to them and fill in between them with polyurethane sheet and then nail on plasterboard to the battens. If the bricks will not make a firm enough anchor you could put joist hangers on the...

Rick it's the keylogger Gerry mentions above. This will log the keys you press to enter your passwords etc. Banks now try to get round this weakness by issuing ccustomers with an electronic gizmo that generates one use passwords. A new one every time you log in to their secure site.

Re: Skimming internal walls which plaster do I use?
How did your walls turn out geegee? I get the impression that even with retardant you still have to be pretty quick off the mark to get yesso out of the bucket and on to the wall before it's gone off. Spanish plasterers don't seem to do the wet trowelling up as the plaster is going gone off to polis...
