Just booked my ITV and got this message,
A partir del 15/09/2017, será obligatorio acreditar el seguro del vehículo al pasar ITV.
although I understand what it says, not sure what I have to do, do I need to take my insurance documents with me?
I still keep mine in the car.

Re: how do you apply for residence in spain
Interesting regarding the Spanish Health cards. My neighbour (Spanish) has been telling me for a long time now to say I have lost my ´red card´ so I can have it replaced with the ´green card´and use that on a day to day basis, keeping my red card in a safe place, like she and all her family have don...

After emptying the the squatters belongings on to the patio, the squatters had us in court the next day! They had been previously denounced by us. It took a year to get them out legally. You can disconnect services as long as no minors are living in the house.( Ours reconnected illegally to both wat...

My husbands does, though not on a weekly basis, but on his travels he has met many that do.
Where are you going to be living and where is your husband going to be commuting to?
You can send me a pm if you like.

My elderly mum who lives in the UK loves to look at the family photos on face book when younger relatives visit. I am looking at buying her a tab and some kind of temporary access to the internet to see how she gets on. I am sure there must be a simple solution. Any suggestions or recommendations wo...

I went to Faro Airport last Friday. The machine in the garage was not working so I had to buy a card for 10€ It gives you the instructions in English on the the back of the card. Scratch off the silver bit and text the code to the given number with your registration. A clear example is given. You re...

Re: can I be fined?
Only today my daughter had a note from the local police informing her to go to the ayuntumiento, she was having two flowerbeds (patches of dirt in her case) concreted over and the police happened to be driving past. She has to pay 2 per cent of the cost or a minimum fee of €60. All for €150 euros wo...

Re: Portugal tolls
Yes still here and still using the toll:) I always pay at first garage and prefer to pay in cash since they took payments twice on two consecutive occasions, and it took ages (about 40mins) for the very nice lady in our local Caixa bank to get my money back. She commented that it happens a lot. Way ...
