Hola

I recently found out that you can pass on your house to your children free of taxes if you are all still living. This is the first time I have heard of this and have no proof but was at the notary when it was done

Re: Buying a rural property - are any legal??

Hola My pozo negro is a thirty man year tank; significance being that it is that much larger. The other significance is that it is leaching foul water into the water table and the water table under Chiclana is so contaminated that not only the Junta de Andalucía are discussing the problem, but the E...

Re: Buying a rural property - are any legal??

Hola The three chamber septic tanks are designed to break down solids and leave cleaner water to seep out which should not contaminate the water table. However they are usually designated in (non-pc) "man years" before they need the solids that can not be absorbed to be physically removed....

Hola

Things have moved on and there is a new decree 3 / 2019 which helps a lot of illegal properties. There is political will to "get things sorted" as far as illegal properties go. That is not to say everything is coming up smelling of roses, but things are starting to move

Re: Renewing Passports and Spanish driving licences.Update

Hola

After doing my own passport, several friends have asked me to take their photo. There is what was a yellow wall opposite our local Venta which had faded. It is north facing and makes a very good backdrop (until the owners repaint it)!
